Spring Medical Systems announces the release of SpringCharts^® EHR Version 9.7.5

October 14th, 2009 - Houston, Texas—Spring Medical Systems, a CCHIT-Certified℠ leading provider of software solutions for small- and medium-sized medical practices, announced today the availability of SpringCharts® EHR V9.7.5, which offers new features and enhancements to improve overall product reliability and usability. The new version focuses on streamlining the office workflow, increasing patient safety and saving time and money.

Major features of SpringCharts EHR V9.7.5 include the SpringScripts™ ePrescribing module that provides a fast and reliable way to manage the practice’s electronic prescriptions and renewals in addition to offering real-time drug interaction warnings. It also allows physicians to provide a higher level of patient service and safety. The module also offers real-time clinical tools such as drug interactions, formulary checking, dosage checking, prescription history, automated prescription renewals and more. It runs on Windows, Mac and tablet PCs and it is available integrated into SpringCharts® EHR or as a standalone product.
• Extensive User Interface Enhancements – To increase efficiency, ease-of-use and improve usability, new buttons, forms and tabs have been added to different areas of the program to reduce typing, minimize errors and increase the speed of charting.
• Enhanced Print Formatting – V9.7.5 offers new print formatting options for Rx, letters, reports, lists and more.
• HL-7 Interfaces - New HL-7 interfaces for practice management systems
